Hail, dear gentles! This is the official website of the Shire of Cote du Ciel. The Shire of Cote du Ciel is a medieval reenactment group that is part of the Kingdom of Artemisia. We focus on the many aspects that make the medieval ages interesting including arts and sciences, heraldry, and even some of the martial arts.
Where can you find us?
We meet at the Whittier Community Center in Logan Utah on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. You don't need to dress up or do anything special to come to our meetings – just come out and visit with us!
Our first meeting of 2018 will be on January 3rd.
What does "Cote du Ciel" mean?
It translates from French as "Coast of the Sky" in the same way as Cote d'Azur translates as "Coast of Blue." We took that name because of our proximity to the mountains here in Cache Valley.
To find out how to get started on a local level, contact our Chatelaine (Newcomer’s Officer) Lady Symonne de Clermont en Beauvaisis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Curious about what we do on a larger scale? Find out why we enjoy the "Current Middle Ages?" at the Society for Creative Anachronism's official website.
